Aquiles Navarro is a trumpeter, composer, and DJ whose music defies easy categorization. He is a founding member of Irreversible Entanglements, a duo with Tcheser Holmes, and the founder of River Down Records. His sound is a conversation between jazz, Panamanian folklore, salsa, reggae, and electronic music—a dialogue between the past and the future, between Panama and the world. He has performed at the Sydney Opera House, the Berlin Jazz Festival, and everywhere in between. He is a cultural ambassador, a collaborator, and a singular voice on the trumpet.
