Davide Sgarra, a virtuosic jazz clarinetist from Varese, Italy, graduated with a Master’s degree from the Manhattan School of Music in 2025, marking a pivotal moment in his rising career. Renowned for his mastery of Bb clarinet, bass clarinet, baritone saxophone, and tenor saxophone, Sgarra combines technical brilliance with emotive depth, captivating audiences in both traditional and modern jazz settings. His international journey has seen him perform at prestigious venues, from New York’s Dizzy’s Club at Lincoln Center to European stages during his studies at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague. Notable performances include the Sonny Rollins Heritage Series with the Concertgebouw Jazz Orchestra, as well as shows at Dizzy’s Club and other major venues such as PAC NYC and more.
