Eylül Biçer is an Istanbul-based jazz guitarist, composer, and educator born in 1987. A graduate of Yıldız Technical University’s Music Ensembles Programme and Bahçeşehir University’s Jazz Master’s program, he has been a key figure in Turkey’s music scene for over a decade. Biçer has performed at major festivals like Istanbul Jazz Festival and Akbank Jazz Festival, and toured extensively in Europe. He released his debut album, Byblos, in 2020, featuring ten original compositions blending contemporary jazz, rock, and singer-songwriter influences. As a sideman, he’s contributed to albums by artists like Tamer Temel and Jehan Barbur. Biçer currently teaches jazz guitar at Istanbul University State Conservatory.
