Herb Cells, known as Johnny LievelingsDeere, is the dynamic lead vocalist and visionary founder of FOKKOP.ERA, a Brussels-based alternative rap live band that fuses hip-hop, electronic, punk, soul, and jazz-rock to critique modern narcissism. A seasoned artist with roots in projects like Wild Boar & Bull, Frown-I-Brown, and GLÜ, Herb has steered FOKKOP.ERA to remarkable heights. He led the band to open for acts like Akua Naru, Clipping, and Ausgang at events such as Les Nuits 2021 and secured a finalist spot in the 2023 Concours Circuit. Herb drove the release of their debut EP SPITCOINS in February 2023, with a 12" vinyl in the works, and expanded their sound through the acoustic jazz project FOKKOP.UNPLUGGD. His leadership earned the band two artist-in-residence stints at Vaartkapoen, cementing his influence in Belgium’s music scene.
