Emma Lamadji, a French-Central African singer, has always been steeped in negro spiritual and African music. With a deep voice and an incredible stage presence, she conveys the full depth and strength of the repertoire's melodies. She has shared the stage with true legends such as drummer Tony Allen, Damon Albarn, Cheick Tidiane Seck, and singer Oumou Sangaré.

Matia Levréro, a guitarist, composer, and arranger, is an artist open to the world; he refines his musical style through his stage encounters, blending jazz, Mediterranean music, and Romani music with renowned musicians like Tcha Limberger, Julien Lourau, and others.

Together, they create songs, give free rein to improvisation, and constantly play to surprise each other...

After two albums with the Free River quintet and over a decade of touring, the artists, freer than ever, explore a brand-new facet of their music with this duo...
