Momentum is a New York vocal jazz collective that refuses to be boxed in. Led by vibraphonist Grady Tesch and vocalist Joy Hanson, they blend jazz, hip-hop, R&B, and soul into a sound that is both deeply rooted and forward-looking. Their debut EP Aséna (2024) has been praised as an "intoxicating mixture" that defies easy categorization.
