East End Jazz invites the community to step back in time for a special outdoor performance: "An Evening of the Roaring Twenties." Taking place on Tuesday, July 28th at 7:00 PM at the East Quogue Village Green, this concert offers a vibrant homage to the timeless sounds and glamour of the 1920s under the stars. (Rain Date: August 11th)
The evening will feature imaginative jazz arrangements of classic favorites that defined a generation, including "Sweet Georgia Brown," "Ain't Misbehavin'," "It Had to Be You," and many more.
The performance brings together a stellar lineup of talent:
Vanessa Trouble - Vocals
Deanna Kirk - Vocals
Davide Sgarra - Clarinet & Saxophone
Nick Demopoulos - Guitar
Iris Ornig - Bass
Brian Woodruff - Drums
This all-ages, multi-generational event is open to the entire community. Attendees are encouraged to pack a picnic basket, grab a beach chair or blanket, and enjoy an evening of live music, rhythm, and dancing on the lawn.
