Le Monde Merveilleux de Pépito is a jazz quartet led by Franco-Belgian trumpeter and composer Pierre-Antoine Savoyat. Formed in Brussels, the project is an autobiographical exploration of Savoyat’s life experiences, blending organic, improvisational jazz with emotive storytelling. Influenced by artists like Wayne Shorter and Ambrose Akinmusire, their debut album, Memories From a Winter Journey (2023), is dedicated to Savoyat’s late mother and showcases a rich, emotional soundscape rooted in human experiences and introspection. The quartet is known for its vibrant performances.
